]]> The roll continues for Zach Greinke against the Nationals, turning in eight scoreless innings and bringing his career-best total to 43 2/3 in a row. Greinke struck out 11 and allowed just three hits and a walk in the contest, picking up the win in a 5-0 Dodgers victory.

Greinke’s current streak is the third best in MLB, putting him in the conversation with Dodgers legends Orel Hershiser and Don Drysdale.

Hershiser (59 consecutive scoreless innings) and Drysdale (58) rank 1-2 in Major League Baseball history, but with Greinke being only 15 1/3 innings shy, we may be looking at a new record holder in the near future.
