Get ready for even more drama in Washington.
The Washington Redskins have named Kirk Cousins as their starting quarterback for their regular-season opener. Cousins will start Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. This announcement comes in the midst of controversy of Robert Griffin III, who the team was reportedly split on getting rid of.
Cousins is 2-7 in 9 career starts for the Redskins, but Coach Jay Gruden feels that the QB gives the team the best chance to win. He is expected to address the media later today.
The question now turns to RG3’s future in Washington, which now looks bleak at best.
"This tax plan that Bernie Sanders' put out would kill 6 million jobs. And 6 million jobs for whom? Millennials, young people, the next generation. And if people who were voting for Bernie understood that, maybe they wouldn't support him."
